Jan Conn

Dear Harvey,

This neighbourhood is near the University of Sao Paulo, and near a large indoor recycling depot. Many of the nearby building walls are home to street art and graffiti. For those not well-versed in Portuguese, the translation is “poetry of garbage”. The black rectangular wire baskets (in front of every house) are for garbage bags. Elevated to keep them from being ripped open and scattered by meandering, hungry dogs. The silhouetted black bat is extra.

Abracos,

Jan
